At Mountain Events we pride ourselves in delivering a high quality outdoor adventure experience for our clients. The precise format of each event evolves, after consultation with you, to produce a package tailored to suit your individual needs.
Mountain Events was founded by Rob Holden, who has over twenty eight years’ experience working with adults and young people in the outdoor environment. He has qualifications as a mountain leader, for climbing activities, as a swift water rescue technician and also holds a current mountain rescue casualty care first aid certificate . He has worked as a mountain guide over many years and his love of the outdoors has taken him to the Himalayas, the Andes and the European Alps. He is a keen mountaineer, climber and skier. He has run a climbing club for young people every week for the past eleven year and is also accredited as an expedition assessor for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards. He is Deputy Leader of Penrith Mountain Rescue team and has been in the team for the past eighteen years. This lifetime of experiences allows Mountain Events to deliver a high quality and safe service to its clients.
All instructors used by Mountain Events are qualified and experienced.
